What Claude can see from SoFi

SoFi Invest (investment) accounts and any SoFi loan accounts, with balances. Holdings/positions come from the Finicity network where SoFi reports them — a position with no reported value shows as "not reported" rather than $0, so your totals stay honest. You sign in through SoFi’s secure flow; Ledgerwire never sees your credentials.

Coverage depends on your bank: some institutions report categories, APR, or holdings and some don't. A missing field always comes back as “not reported”, never a fake $0, and bank data lags posting by a few days. See the FAQ for the full coverage story.

Does Claude connect directly to SoFi?

No — Claude has no native SoFi integration. Ledgerwire is the bridge: a hosted, read-only MCP connector. You add https://ledgerwire.io/mcp to Claude once, connect SoFi through the bank's own sign-in, and Claude can then read your accounts — nothing more.

Can Claude move money or place trades in my SoFi account?

No. Ledgerwire is read-only by architecture — there is no transfer, payment, trading, or account-change tool anywhere in the product. Claude can read your SoFi balances, positions, and history, and nothing else.

Does Ledgerwire store my SoFi transactions?

No. Every answer is fetched on demand when you ask and then discarded. Your transactions and balances are never written to Ledgerwire's database, and your SoFi login is never seen by Ledgerwire — you sign in through your bank's own secure window.
