Connect Discover in three steps

    In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Enter the name Ledgerwire and the MCP URL https://ledgerwire.io/mcp, then authorize.
  2. 2 · Sign in
    Sign in to Ledgerwire (free, passwordless magic link), then connect Discover through its own secure sign-in window. Your credentials go to Discover, never to us.
  3. 3 · Ask
    Ask Claude anything about your Discover accounts. Answers are fetched on demand and discarded.

What Claude can see from Discover

Balances, transactions, spending by category, and recurring charges on your Discover card and Discover Bank accounts. You sign in through Discover’s secure flow; Ledgerwire never sees your credentials.

Coverage depends on your bank: some institutions report categories, APR, or holdings and some don't. A missing field always comes back as “not reported”, never a fake $0, and bank data lags posting by a few days. See the FAQ for the full coverage story.

Questions

Does Claude connect directly to Discover?
No — Claude has no native Discover integration. Ledgerwire is the bridge: a hosted, read-only MCP connector. You add https://ledgerwire.io/mcp to Claude once, connect Discover through the bank's own sign-in, and Claude can then read your accounts — nothing more.
Can Claude move money in my Discover account?
No. Ledgerwire is read-only by architecture — there is no transfer, payment, or account-change tool anywhere in the product. Claude can read your Discover data and nothing else.
Does Ledgerwire store my Discover transactions?
No. Every answer is fetched on demand when you ask and then discarded. Your transactions and balances are never written to Ledgerwire's database, and your Discover login is never seen by Ledgerwire — you sign in through your bank's own secure window.
