What Claude can see from Chase

Balances, transactions, spending by category, and recurring charges — plus rich debt detail: Chase reports credit-card APR, cash-advance APR, credit limit, minimum payment, and due date, and for a Chase mortgage or loan it reports the rate, principal, escrow, year-to-date interest, and payoff date. You connect through Chase’s own secure sign-in window (OAuth) — your credentials never touch Ledgerwire — and Chase’s available transaction history can be shorter than some other banks.

Coverage depends on your bank: some institutions report categories, APR, or holdings and some don't. A missing field always comes back as “not reported”, never a fake $0, and bank data lags posting by a few days. See the FAQ for the full coverage story.

Does Claude connect directly to Chase?

No — Claude has no native Chase integration. Ledgerwire is the bridge: a hosted, read-only MCP connector. You add https://ledgerwire.io/mcp to Claude once, connect Chase through the bank's own sign-in, and Claude can then read your accounts — nothing more.

Can Claude move money in my Chase account?

No. Ledgerwire is read-only by architecture — there is no transfer, payment, or account-change tool anywhere in the product. Claude can read your Chase data and nothing else.

Does Ledgerwire store my Chase transactions?
