Connect Citi to Claude

Ask Claude about your real
Citi accounts — read-only.

Ask Claude about your real Citi accounts and cards — read-only, nothing stored. Ledgerwire connects Citi to Claude (or Cursor, Claude Desktop, any MCP client) through your bank's own secure sign-in. It can never move money, and it keeps no copy of your data.

Get started free

1 · Add
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → add a custom connector: https://ledgerwire.io/mcp
2 · Sign in
Sign in to Ledgerwire (free, passwordless magic link), then connect Citi through its own secure sign-in window. Your credentials go to Citi, never to us.
3 · Ask
Ask Claude anything about your Citi accounts. Answers are fetched on demand and discarded.
“…”
“What did I spend on my Citi card last month?”
“…”
“What's my Citi account balance?”
“…”
“What recurring charges hit my Citi card?”

Balances, transactions, spending by category, and recurring charges. You sign in through Citi’s secure flow; Ledgerwire never sees your credentials.

Coverage depends on your bank: some institutions report categories, APR, or holdings and some don't. A missing field always comes back as “not reported”, never a fake $0, and bank data lags posting by a few days. See the FAQ for the full coverage story.

Can't move money
There is no transfer, payment, or account-change tool — the capability doesn't exist in the product.
Scoped, revocable access
claude.ai authorizes with OAuth 2.1; other clients use a scoped token — both read-only and revocable in one click. No long-lived shared key.
Nothing stored
Every read is fetched on demand and discarded; your transactions and balances are never written to our database. More on the Trust Center and security page.
Can Claude move money in my Citi account?
No. Ledgerwire is read-only by architecture — there is no transfer, payment, or account-change tool anywhere in the product. Claude can read your Citi data and nothing else.
Does Ledgerwire store my Citi transactions?
No. Every answer is fetched on demand when you ask and then discarded. Your transactions and balances are never written to Ledgerwire's database, and your Citi login is never seen by Ledgerwire — you sign in through your bank's own secure window.
How do I connect Citi to Claude?
In Claude, add the Ledgerwire connector (Settings → Connectors → add https://ledgerwire.io/mcp), sign in to Ledgerwire (free, passwordless), connect Citi through its secure sign-in, then ask Claude about your accounts.
What can Claude see from Citi?
Balances, transactions, spending by category, and recurring charges. You sign in through Citi’s secure flow; Ledgerwire never sees your credentials.
