Pricing
Start free. Pay $8.99 a month
when one institution is not enough.
Both plans are read-only by architecture and keep no copy of your financial data. The free tier is a standing tier, not a timed trial: 1 linked institution, 20 lookups a day, no card. The paid plan removes both caps for one flat monthly price.

What both plans share
honest limitsRead-only
No transfer, payment, trading, or account-change tool exists in the product. Every tool reads; the full list is on the security page.
Nothing stored
Every answer is fetched on demand and discarded. Your transactions, balances, and holdings are never written to our database. Details on the Trust Center.
Coverage
US institutions only, through the Finicity network. Fields vary by bank: a detail your bank does not report comes back as “not reported”, never a made-up $0. See the FAQ.
Freshness
Not real-time. Every answer carries the time your bank last reported. New transactions appear after your bank posts them and the network syncs, which varies by institution, and a period that is still open is flagged as partial.
Which plan
Who is the free tier for?
Anyone who wants Claude reading their accounts at one institution. It is a standing tier, not a timed trial: it does not expire and needs no card. The limits are 1 linked institution and 20 lookups a day. When you want another institution or more lookups in a day, upgrade.
What counts as a lookup?
One MCP tool call: each time Claude reads something from your accounts through Ledgerwire, such as a balance, a list of transactions, or a spending summary. A single question in Claude can use several tool calls, so one question may count as more than one lookup. Calls that fail are not counted, and the connection-management tools (listing your connections, fetching a reconnect link) never count.
What happens when I reach the daily cap?
Claude receives a clear "daily limit reached" reply instead of data, and nothing else changes: your connections stay in place. The counter resets at 00:00 UTC. You can wait for the reset, or upgrade from your dashboard at any time; the cap stops applying as soon as the paid subscription is active.
How does cancellation work?
It is self-serve. Open the billing portal from your dashboard and cancel there; no email or phone call is needed. You keep paid access until the end of the current billing period, then your account drops back to the free tier and its limits. If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged.
Which banks can I connect?
US banks, credit unions, card issuers, and brokerages through the Finicity network, including Chase, Bank of America, Fidelity, and American Express. Outside the US, Connect will not find your bank. See every supported bank and brokerage →
